Open Mat

Unstructured training time to drill, roll, and put the week together.

What it is

Open Mat is time with no set curriculum: come in, warm up, drill what you have been working on, and roll with whoever is there. It is where the week's lessons get pressure-tested and where the room becomes a community.

What a class looks like

There is no formal instruction. Warm up on your own or with a partner, drill the thing you want to fix, then get your rounds in. Coaches and experienced training partners are usually around to answer questions. You decide how hard and how long you go.

Your training, your call

Open Mat is where you own your development. Fix a leaky guard, film a technique, or just get quality rounds against a range of partners.

Where the room becomes a team

The relaxed setting is where people actually get to know each other. It is a big part of why members describe the place as a family.
